I've decided to run a batch of prints for the first four witches of the WITCH series. I am offering them at a lower price for people who pre-order (since you will save me the headache of running to the post office 100 times individually). I am also offering an even lower price for folks who order all four witches together :)
I wasn't planning to offer the prints for sale on my site until after my next run of tattoo conventions were over, but heck, why not plan to save some for the folks who support me online?
I truly appreciate all the love and support you fantastic folks show me every day.
Thanks so much,

WITCH #1, Lilith -- Jewish Demon, First woman, First wife of Adam.
Lilith is one of the most prominent female demons in Jewish tradition. She was created as the first wife of Adam (Before Eve). She was made from the same earth as Adam, and created as his equal. Refusing to become Adam's submissive, Lilith fled the marriage, and Eve was created from Adam's rib to satisfy his loneliness. After leaving, Lilith became known to have control over newborn babies for the first few weeks of their life -- often blamed for any complications or for their early death.
WITCH #2, Lussi -- Scandinavian Demon
Lussi is a demon/witch from Scandinavian folklore. It is said that on December 13th, St.Lucy's Day, the old winter solstice, and the darkest night of the year -- Lussi, would fly through the town and snatch children who didn't help finish chores. If the home wasn't clean before the winter feast Lussi would fly down the chimney and snatch the children. The only way to ward her off was to stay up all night. Lussi is an earlier depiction of St. Lucy, a martyr who was said to wear a wreath of candles around her head to help he see in the night so that she could use both hands to bring food to the needy. I merged these two stories together for this artwork.
WITCH #3, Sappho -- Greek Poet
Sappho was a prolific female poet from ancient Greece. She is known as one of the earliest female writers, and despite much of her work being lost over the years, she has remained well respected onto the modern era, as one of the world's greatest poets. While her sexual preference is not known for sure, many of her love poems are believed to be about women. She was from the island of Lesbos, and the modern term Lesbian was established because of Sappho's believed female homosexuality.
WITCH #4, Ammit -- Egyptian Goddess of the Underworld
Ammit was a female goddess in ancient Egyptian religion with a body that was part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile—the three largest "man-eating" animals known to ancient Egyptians. Her titles included "Devourer of the Dead", "Eater of Hearts", and "Great of Death". Ammit lived near the scales of justice in the Egyptian underworld. Anubis weighed the heart of a person against the feather of Ma'at, the goddess of truth. If the heart was judged to be not pure, Ammit would devour it, and the person undergoing judgement was not allowed to continue their voyage towards Osiris and immortality.
